The Name of The Lord is.
A Strong Tower.
The righteous run into it.
And they are saved.
The Name of The Lord is.
A Strong Tower.
The righteous run into it.
And they are saved.
Blessed be The Name of The Lord.
Blessed be The Name of The Lord.
Blessed be The Name of The Lord.
Most High!
Blessed be The Name of The Lord.
Blessed be The Name of The Lord.
Blessed be The Name of The Lord.
Most High!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Blessed be Your Name oh Lord.
Blessed be Your Name Lord Jesus.
How great is our God.
All glory and honour is Yours Almighty Father, forever and ever.
Amen.
Oh Lord I praise You.
Just woke up with these songs of praises, and then He encourages me with this song.
Why should I feel discouraged, why should the shadows come,
Why should my heart be lonely, and long for heaven and home,
When Jesus is my portion? My constant friend is He:
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.
I sing because I’m happy,
I sing because I’m free,
For His eye is on the sparrow,
And I know He watches me.
The Lord took me to the book of Judges last night Judges 4 to be precise and in this chapter we find the story of the great woman of God, the prophetess Deborah.
He reminded me of this great woman of God, and for some time now it has been my heart’s desire to encourage women with this scripture.
There is not just one great woman of God in this scripture there are two.
The other being Jael.
Before I fell asleep He simply laid these great women of God of my heart; The daughters of Zelophehad, Deborah, Jael, and then of course we have Mary the blessed amongst women.
There are many great women of God in the bible, but these are the women that I just admire.
I admire their strength, boldness, courage, and their humility.
First I will start with the bold daughters of Zelophehad.
Then came the daughters of Zelophehad the son of Hepher, the son of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, from the families of Manasseh the son of Joseph; and these were the names of his daughters: Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah. Numbers 27:1
And they stood before Moses, before Eleazar the priest, and before the leaders and all the congregation, by the doorway of the tabernacle of meeting, saying: Numbers 27:2
“Our father died in the wilderness; but he was not in the company of those who gathered together against the LORD, in company with Korah, but he died in his own sin; and he had no sons. Numbers 27:3
Why should the name of our father be removed from among his family because he had no son? Give us a possession among our father’s brothers.” Numbers 27:4
So Moses brought their case before the LORD. Numbers 27:5
And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying: Numbers 27:6
In the custom and tradition of this time if a father died and he had no sons, his possessions would not go to his daughter or daughters but to any other member of the family that was a man.
These daughters of Zelophehad decided to seek justice not from man but from The Lord.
They brought their case to The Lord, and just look at what our Lord did?
“The daughters of Zelophehad speak what is right; you shall surely give them a possession of inheritance among their father’s brothers, and cause the inheritance of their father to pass to them. Numbers 27:7
You see that’s why I love The Lord so much!
His response is always upright and just.
And you shall speak to the children of Israel, saying: ‘If a man dies and has no son, then you shall cause his inheritance to pass to his daughter. Numbers 27:8
If he has no daughter, then you shall give his inheritance to his brothers. Numbers 27:9
If he has no brothers, then you shall give his inheritance to his father’s brothers. Numbers 27:10
And if his father has no brothers, then you shall give his inheritance to the relative closest to him in his family, and he shall possess it.’ ” And it shall be to the children of Israel a statute of judgment, just as the LORD commanded Moses. Numbers 27:11
Our God is just and fair.
If a man has no children then his possessions can go to his extended family, but if he has children and his children are daughters then those daughters will inherit their father’s possessions.
God said there are no ifs or buts about it.
Therefore cultures that are still practicing women not having any rights are in no way following the ways of The Lord.
Such cultures cannot even defend their ways by using the Old Testament as an excuse because the Old Testament suggests otherwise.
Such cultures are blind and Jesus came to open the eyes of the blind, I pray that their eyes are opened.
God has always been a God of justice both in the old and the New Testament.
Why?
Because Jesus has always been the son of God.
Jesus did not just exist after the Virgin Mary gave birth to Him no, Jesus existed before even time began.
He is God, and God is three persons, the blessed trinity.
Believers must all understand this.
Study The Word.
We thank God for men of God like Moses of course he could’ve just dismissed the case because of the traditions and customs of the land but no, he decided to bring forth their case to The Lord.
For those that believe the Word of God is against women they have never read the Word of God before.
His Word proves that He loves all whether male or female, black or white.
His Word proves that women had and have just as much rights as men do.
The Lord believes in equality.
So if someone proclaims The Name of The Lord but does not understand that He is a God of faithfulness without injustice, good and upright is He.
Then that person does not know God and the God that they are proclaiming to believe in is not God but a god, a false god.
Now before the faith came, we were perpetually guarded under the Law, kept in custody in preparation for the faith that was destined to be revealed (unveiled, disclosed), Galatians 3:23
So that the Law served [to us Jews] as our trainer [our guardian, our guide to Christ, to lead us] until Christ [came], that we might be justified (declared righteous, put in right standing with God) by and through faith. Galatians 3:24
But now that the faith has come, we are no longer under a trainer (the guardian of our childhood). Galatians 3:25
For in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God through faith. Galatians 3:26
For as many [of you] as were baptized into Christ [into a spiritual union and communion with Christ, the Anointed One, the Messiah] have put on (clothed yourselves with) Christ. Galatians 3:27
There is [now no distinction] neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is not male and female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:28
You make all things new.
Yes You make all things new, and I will follow You.
Forward.💝🙌
We are all one and have become new.
The act of daughters of Zelophehad was prophetic, they broke custom, and tradition, they challenged religious laws, and overcame them.
Likewise, Jesus The Son of The Living God tore the veil, He broke custom and tradition, He brought a new commandment, He challenged religious laws, and overcame them.
He overcame the cross, and made a way so that you and I might live.
That’s the God of faithfulness without injustice.
Glory be to God.
He is fair and just.
Then there’s one of my favourite women of God Deborah!
Deborah the great woman of God, the great leader, the great prophetess, the first and only female judge, the successor of my favourite man of God, Gideon.
I love this woman of God.
I love her strength and her courage.
You know some people that say they read the bible but really don’t say that women have no relevance in the bible and are hardly mentioned.
Lies, from the pit of hell.
Who told you?
Deborah was married to Lapidoth and her husband is hardly mentioned, we do not know much about him.
The focus is clearly on Deborah.
So please do not let anyone lie to you to deceive you.
Read your bible with the eyes of The Living God.
Amen.
Now Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, was judging Israel at that time. Judges 4:4
And she would sit under the palm tree of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in the mountains of Ephraim. And the children of Israel came up to her for judgment. Judges 4:5
Then she sent and called for Barak the son of Abinoam from Kedesh in Naphtali, and said to him, “Has not the LORD God of Israel commanded, ‘Go and deploy troops at Mount Tabor; take with you ten thousand men of the sons of Naphtali and of the sons of Zebulun; Judges 4:6
Deborah the great prophetess spoke with authority, and spoke only that which was from God.
She was bold and courageous because she put her trust, faith, and hope in His Holy Word.
Clearly God was her only firm foundation, and she knew that with God she would surely overcome.
She knew that God could never lie to her.
She knew that God is the Lion of Judah! Her great defence, her fortress, and strong tower.
Therefore no weapon fashioned or formed against her and the Israelites she new would and could never prosper!
The plans of the enemy can and will never work, because God has spoken.
I adore the faith and courage of Deborah.
Powerful woman of God!🔥😀🙌
and against you I will deploy Sisera, the commander of Jabin’s army, with his chariots and his multitude at the River Kishon; and I will deliver him into your hand’?” Judges 4:7
The more we speak what God speaks the more encouraged we shall be.
And Barak said to her, “If you will go with me, then I will go; but if you will not go with me, I will not go!” Judges 4:8
Barak would not go unless Deborah went with him.
A woman that has the fire of God within her, is a powerful woman.
Never underestimate her strength, for it comes from The Lord.
So she said, “I will surely go with you; nevertheless there will be no glory for you in the journey you are taking, for the LORD will sell Sisera into the hand of a woman.” Then Deborah arose and went with Barak to Kedesh. Judges 4:9
Deborah spoke prophetically I believe God used Deborah to portray that He can use anyone and anything for His glory, it doesn’t matter whether they are black or white, male or female, but in this instance and being in the Old Testament He prophesied what was yet to come that He would not only raise up great men of God, but great women of God also, and this prophecy came to pass.
It started with Eve having the power to bruise the heel of the enemy just by giving birth.
And the Lord God said to the serpent, Because you have done this, you are cursed above all [domestic] animals and above every [wild] living thing of the field; upon your belly you shall go, and you shall eat dust [and what it contains] all the days of your life. Genesis 3:14
And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her Offspring; He will bruise and tread your head underfoot, and you will lie in wait and bruise His heel. [Gal. 4:4.] Genesis 3:15
The enemy is afraid of women because of the seed in which we carry.
The enemy is out to destroy destinies and women, we carry destinies.
So then we have Jael the prophecy in which Deborah spoke in Judges 4:9 came to pass.
Jael bruised the head of the enemy, Sisera and destroyed him.
Then Deborah said to Barak, “Up! For this is the day in which the LORD has delivered Sisera into your hand. Has not the LORD gone out before you?” So Barak went down from Mount Tabor with ten thousand men following him. Judges 4:14
And the LORD routed Sisera and all his chariots and all his army with the edge of the sword before Barak; and Sisera alighted from his chariot and fled away on foot. Judges 4:15
However, Sisera had fled away on foot to the tent of Jael, the wife of Heber the Kenite; for there was peace between Jabin king of Hazor and the house of Heber the Kenite. Judges 4:17
“Most blessed among women is Jael, The wife of Heber the Kenite; Blessed is she among women in tents. Judges 5:24
He asked for water, she gave milk; She brought out cream in a lordly bowl. Judges 5:25
She stretched her hand to the tent peg, Her right hand to the workmen’s hammer; She pounded Sisera, she pierced his head, She split and struck through his temple. Judges 5:26
At her feet he sank, he fell, he lay still; At her feet he sank, he fell; Where he sank, there he fell dead. Judges 5:27
And then, as Barak pursued Sisera, Jael came out to meet him, and said to him, “Come, I will show you the man whom you seek.” And when he went into her tent, there lay Sisera, dead with the peg in his temple. Judges 4:22
Woman of God do not underestimate what The Lord has placed inside of you!
What He has spoken shall surely come to pass in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
If He can use anything, woman of God you better believe that He can use you.
Who are the blessed amongst women?
The women that have the hand of God upon them.
Mary the greatest example of a woman blessed amongst women.
The carrier of the greatest Seed ever!
She carried the prophetic Seed.
Mary the virgin teenager bruised the head of the enemy for eternity when she gave birth to Jesus the Son of the living God!
to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin’s name was Mary. Luke 1:27
And having come in, the angel said to her, “Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women!” Luke 1:28
And it happened, when Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, that the babe leaped in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. Luke 1:41
Then she spoke out with a loud voice and said, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb! Luke 1:42
But when the proper time had fully come, God sent His Son, born of a woman, born subject to [the regulations of] the Law, Galatians 4:4
To purchase the freedom of (to ransom, to redeem, to atone for) those who were subject to the Law, that we might be adopted and have sonship conferred upon us [and be recognized as God’s sons]. Galatians 4:5
Blessed are you amongst women because you are a carrier of His seed.
You carry greatness.
Do not be afraid to do what He said you can and should do.
Everything with God is possible, therefore you great woman of God can do the impossible.
He is raising up great women and men of God for His glory.
Do not be afraid for The Lord He is within you.
He knows you, He calls you by name, you are His.
Mary was a teenager, and a virgin it was impossible to give birth to The Son of The Living God!
But guess what she did, it came to pass, why?
Because she believed, and surrendered to His will.
Then Mary said, “Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her. Luke 1:38
Just surrender to His will no matter how crazy it may sound, be bold, be courageous, be humble like Mary and let it be done according to His will.
He will never let you down.
He has promised He will never fail.
His faithfulness is forevermore.
He loves you, just trust and wait on The Lord.
For your time of rejoicing and victory has come.
It’s time to totally surrender to His will and give God glory.
But Jesus answered them, saying, “The hour has come that the Son of Man should be glorified. John 12:23
The enemy tried to destroy the woman, the seed, the Son of the living God but he always failed.
Death could not hold Him down, He is the risen King, and because of Him we shall always and forevermore remain victorious.
We are free!
And because you [really] are [His] sons, God has sent the [Holy] Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, Abba (Father)! Father! Galatians 4:6
Therefore, you are no longer a slave (bond servant) but a son; and if a son, then [it follows that you are] an heir by the aid of God, through Christ. Galatians 4:7
We are heirs salvation, purchased of God.
Born of His Spirit.
Washed in His Blood.
We Are Free!
IN [this] freedom Christ has made us free [and completely liberated us]; stand fast then, and do not be hampered and held ensnared and submit again to a yoke of slavery [which you have once put off]. Galatians 5:1
Remember JESUS is the Reason for this special Season.💝🎁
