We worship one God in different ways, BUT.
All For His Glory.
Worship is incomparable.
Worship is uncompetitive.
Worship is unashamed of proclaiming the gospel.
So if our worship is comparing, competitive, and ashamed of proclaiming the gospel then it is NOT worship, because our worship is supposed to be in spirit and in truth, anything else, and it’s of the flesh, it’s bringing glory to self, and bringing glory to self is pride, and pride is not of God.
Worship is not about pleasing man, but it is about pleasing God.
When we please God with our worship He elevates us in our worship.
We must be careful when we worship to not try to please man but to please God.
We are just vessels in which He uses to minister.
He is the potter, and we are just the clay in which He moulds into His very likeness.
He ministers through us all in different ways, and there’s nothing wrong with that because it’s all for His glory.
There’s nothing wrong with God ministering through brother so and so through rap, neither is there anything wrong with God ministering through sister so and so through hymns, or dance.
Why should members of the body of Christ criticise one another for giving God praise.
Does it really matter the way in which it is being done?
Didn’t David dance till his clothes came off, and yes his wife despised and criticised him but that didn’t stop David from continuing to worship and praise His King.
Now as the ark of the Lord came into the City of David, Michal, Saul’s daughter, looked through a window and saw King David leaping and whirling before the Lord; and she despised him in her heart. II Samuel 6:16
Then David returned to bless his household. And Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David, and said, “How glorious was the king of Israel today, uncovering himself today in the eyes of the maids of his servants, as one of the base fellows shamelessly uncovers himself!” 2 Samuel 6:20
God comes to bless, but satan comes to curse.
David came to bless and encourage his household, but satan came to discourage and destroy David’s household.
I’m just reminded of when I ministered and a loved one also ministered and I encouraged that loved one that ministered,
but satan used that loved one to discourage me straight after I had ministered.
I was down, but refused to stay there.
I got right back up and encouraged myself in The Word, rebuked satan, and let God fight for me.
So David said to Michal, “ It was before the Lord, who chose me instead of your father and all his house, to appoint me ruler over the people of the Lord, over Israel. Therefore I will play music before the Lord. II Samuel 6:21
And I will be even more undignified than this, and will be humble in my own sight. But as for the maidservants of whom you have spoken, by them I will be held in honor.” II Samuel 6:22
God called me to minister through song and therefore I will minister through song I will worship and sing of His goodness.
My reward is giving glory to God.
Therefore Michal the daughter of Saul had no children to the day of her death. II Samuel 6:23
No wonder God describes David as a man after His own heart he understood that God is the heart of our worship.
David was bold in his worship, he worshipped God in the good and the bad, and God elevated David in his worship.
God hates when we criticise those that serve Him.
God loves the humble heart.
God recognises those that are humble as His friends.
Then Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married; for he had married an Ethiopian woman. Numbers 12:1
So they said, “Has the Lord indeed spoken only through Moses? Has He not spoken through us also?” And the Lord heard it. Numbers 12:2
We must pray against this competitive, and comparing spirit.
(Now the man Moses was very humble, more than all men who were on the face of the earth.) Numbers 12:3
Suddenly the Lord said to Moses, Aaron, and Miriam, “Come out, you three, to the tabernacle of meeting!” So the three came out. Numbers 12:4
I speak with him face to face, Even plainly, and not in dark sayings; And he sees the form of the Lord. Why then were you not afraid To speak against My servant Moses?” Numbers 12:8
So the anger of the Lord was aroused against them, and He departed. Numbers 12:9
And when the cloud departed from above the tabernacle, suddenly Miriam became leprous, as white as snow. Then Aaron turned toward Miriam, and there she was, a leper. Numbers 12:10
We must be careful to not speak against those that serve The Lord, those that minister truth, those that worship God in Spirit and in Truth.
God is a God of love but He is also a God of judgement.
Bear in mind that some people will criticise even if you do good.
Do not put your mind on such, just keep on doing what God said you should do.
We are not people pleasers we are God pleasers.
As Christians we ought not to criticise and compare the vessels in which God uses, because by doing so we are discouraging the members of the body of Christ, when we are supposed to be encouraging to keep the body united.
We should be bound together in love, in one accord, for God is love.
When God elevates us into greatness the enemy will try to destroy us into destruction.
But do not be afraid, discouraged, nor dismayed, stand firm for Jesus is our firm foundation put your trust in His holy Word.
God has the final say, therefore whose report will you choose to listen to?
Be bold, when God leads you go for it! When God ministers through you proclaim!
Do as The Lord leads remembering that He leads us all in different ways.
I will never be like sister so and so, I am who God created me to be, I minister according to the anointing that He has placed over my life.
When faced with opposition don’t run away from it face that challenge and overcome it.
We are destined to win.
When that brethren or that loved one criticises you don’t hate them, love them, but rebuke that spirit behind them, and keep it moving.
God Himself said that He is elevating you and I, therefore no weapon fashioned or formed against us shall ever prosper!
Be encouraged, stay encouraged, and do not be afraid to use the gift that God has given you according to the way that He has instructed you to use it.
Never try to be what you are not.
What someone may have not been blessed by best believe someone else out there surely will.
What He has given you is not in vain.
Use what He has given you for His glory.
In this new season, be bold, be strong, and remain encouraged in His Word.
Remember where there is unity there is power.
Where there is strife there is division.
Lets not tear down the body of Christ lets build it up, let’s add to the kingdom of God.
Lets love, lets appreciate, let’s encourage, let’s thank God for the different gifts that He has placed in each and everyone of us all for His glory!
God if I have ever criticised anyone who ministers Your truth please forgive me.
Amen.
Be led by His Spirit, be led by His Word and not by the flesh nor by the words of man.
We have got to let ourselves go and allow God to use us, bearing in mind that He uses us and leads us all in different ways.
He ministers through us all in different ways.
So lets not criticise or compare, let’s see the beauty in the many different ways in which He leads us all.
Amen.
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. Romans 8:14❤️
