This is a season of believing God no matter what even in the good and the bad.
This is the season to not allow anyone to put us down, but to hold on to God’s Word, God’s promise.
When we hold on to God’s Word no matter what there is no way that the enemy will be able to bring us down, for He upholds us with His mighty Hand of righteousness.

I love encouraging others.
I love sharing The Word of God, I love to worship.
I love to hear when people say they have been blessed by what they have heard or what they have read, this really encourages me to continue to share all that The Lord has placed on my heart.
However, this has not stopped the enemy from trying to discourage me, especially through the people that I would least expect.

When the enemy uses people to discourage you the best way to respond is by rebuking saying;
“get behind me satan’.
It may sound over the top, but believe me that is the best way to respond to the enemy when he tries to discourage us in order to destroy us.

If we do not rebuke that lying spirit, then that spirit will begin to torment us to the point where it will stop us from fulfilling the will of God.
Remember that is why Jesus rebuked satan not Peter, because satan tried to discourage Jesus through His bosom friend Peter.

Jesus turned and said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns.”
Matthew 16:23

The enemy was trying to discourage Jesus from fulfilling the will of God.
That is why it is important that we pray for the spirit of discernment.
Even if we are given a word it’s important that we first take it to God.
For He alone reveals truth.
How do we know if the spirit behind is not of God?

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.
1 John 4:1

Well first of all you will know if it is a stumbling block to you moving forward in His Kingdom.
If the spirit is only interested in the matters of the flesh and not of God, then the spirit is not of God.
If the spirit tries to discourage you, then that spirit is not of God because God encourages.

I pray the church will encourage more just like the 1st century church.
I just love the way Paul and Timothy would encourage each other.
Strengthening one another for the sake of the kingdom.
Oh how I pray for that same spirit of unity like that of the 1st century church.

Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. 1 Timothy 4:12❤️🙌

Do not neglect the gifts that The Lord has placed inside of you, because of what so and so said.
When satan tries to discourage you that is really the best time to be encouraged, because he is afraid of what God is about to do.
Be encouraged, you are exactly who God says you are.

Young men and women who minister truth be encouraged, listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit our comforter, our closest friend, whom strengthens us and makes us brave.

I rebuke you satan, for no weapon formed against me shall prosper.
It won’t work.

It doesn’t matter how young you are, I don’t understand why the 21st century church does not get this!
We must encourage the youth, because God is raising up a generation of true worshippers, who will do great works in His Name!
We can do it because He said we can.

Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity. 1 Timothy 4:12

Do not neglect the spiritual gift you received through the prophecy spoken over you 1 Timothy 4:14

Give your complete attention to these matters. Throw yourself into your tasks so that everyone will see your progress. 1 Timothy 4:15

I pray the church will encourage more just like the 1st century church.
I just love the way Paul and Timothy would encourage each other.
And their encouragement brought unity, and unity brought power!

There are some people in the body of Christ that will just never speak a word of encouragement, and that’s just so sad.
We need to build each other up, for this Christian race is not easy, and we all must finish it for His glory.

I believe in encouraging others till you see them at the place where God intended them to be.
That’s faith, that’s speaking life.
That criticising spirit is not of God, that spirit needs to be rebuked.

Rebuking in love yes that’s of God, but criticising, discouraging, never encouraging, putting people down that is not of God.
He is love, and there is power in love, there is power in unity.
We must be united in the body of Christ.
We must get rid of this competitive attitude, this one is better than the other, no!
That is not of God!
We rebuke the spirit of pride in the mighty Name of Jesus.
The spirit that kicked satan right out of heaven.

If the spirit does not speak according to the Word of God then that spirit is not of God.

It is very important that we rebuke satan because if we fail in rebuking the enemy then immediately we give him the chance to bring us down from where The Lord intended us to be.
Do not give the enemy the chance to steal your joy.
Do not allow the enemy to be your stumbling block.

The enemy has tried with me but he has most definitely failed, because The Lord said He will elevate me and indeed He will, therefore I rebuke you satan you will not be a stumbling block to my progress.
I will be what God says that I will be.
I will go when God says go.
I will encourage myself in His Word.
I look to you oh Lord the author and the finisher of my faith.

Remember The Lord is the author and the finisher of our faith.
That person may be close to you but they are not the author of your life, God is, so He has the final say, what He says goes.
Your life is in His hands not in your loved ones hands, He is the finisher of our faith.
He knows you.
He knows your beginning and your end.
It’s ok to seek advice and what not but when you get that advice do not forget to go to The Lord in prayer, for He knows all, and He has the final say.
If He said that you can then you can.
If He says wait then wait.
If He says go then go and do not stop going!

He has created us all differently with different giftings, but all in His image, and all for His glory.
Therefore since we have all been created in His image who then has the right to tell you that you cannot do what God has called you to do?!
Rebuke that lying spirit!
You are able because He is able.
You are able even where you are right now.
No qualifications needed just give God your heart.
You are able even in the strength that you have.

The LORD turned to him and said, “Go in the strength you have and save Israel out of Midian’s hand. Am I not sending you?”
Judges 6:14

If God has sent you and the enemy is saying no not now.
Rebuke him.
For if our God is for us, then who could ever stop us?
And if our God is with us, what can stand against?!
Just rebuke satan in The Name that is above all names and that Name is Jesus!

If God has sent you and the enemy is causing confusion, and strife.
Rebuke him.

And the Lord said to Satan, “The Lord rebuke you, O Satan! The Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is not this a brand plucked from the fire?”
Zechariah 3:2

Do not even bother trying to argue with the person.
For it is not the person but the spirit behind.

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
Ephesians 6:12

I know at times it is very tempting to just retaliate but trust me when we just leave it in the hands of God He really does take over.
All we need to do is rebuke the spirit behind and pray, for the battle is not ours it’s The Lord’s.

When you know who you are in Christ, then you will know exactly where it is that you are going, and absolutely no lying spirit can tell you otherwise, and if that lying spirit tries you better rebuke it! Amen and amen!

No weapon formed against you shall prosper,
And every tongue which rises against you in judgment
You shall condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,
And their righteousness is from Me,”
Says the Lord.
Isaiah 54:17

It’s also important as Christians that we do not fail in rebuking in love, bearing in mind though that we are led by the Spirit.
Just don’t go rebuking in love anyhow.
Rebuking in love is to correct our brethren if they seem to be led astray or backsliding.
Constant rebuking in love can be annoying so once we have said what The Lord has prompted us to say leave the rest to God, and simply pray.
Most Christians do not like to be rebuked in love lol, it hurts, it’s sharp, it pierces through.
Rebuking in love is the truth, we must not shy away from it for it moulds us and matures us into being just like Him.
It’s not always easy to rebuke someone in love but God will hold us accountable if He has commanded us to do so, and we fail in doing it.
God forgive us, if we have ever failed in rebuking those that you have prompted us to in love.

Better is open rebuke than hidden love.
Proverbs 27:5

As for those who persist in sin, rebuke them in the presence of all, so that the rest may stand in fear.
1 Timothy 5:20
