God really does see beyond our current situation, and our backgrounds. He desires that we see beyond our current situation, and our past history to.
He knows who we are and what we will become, and in Him we are able to locate our destiny.

In Gideon’s case he looked at his current situation and saw himself and his people as the least amongst his clan. God saw beyond what Gideon was seeing, and instead The Lord saw a ‘Mighty Warrior.’
Gideon had chosen to see his current situation, he was so familiar with it and instead of choosing to look beyond it, he lacked faith and without faith we are not able to move into the vision that The Lord has for each and everyone of us. It takes the Word of God to encourage us to move and see what The Lord sees after all He has the final say.

Now Jephthah the Gileadite was a mighty man of valor, but he was the son of a harlot; and Gilead begot Jephthah. Judges 11:1

Gilead’s wife bore sons; and when his wife’s sons grew up, they drove Jephthah out, and said to him, “You shall have no inheritance in our father’s house, for you are the son of another woman.” Judges 11:2

Then Jephthah fled from his brothers and dwelt in the land of Tob; and worthless men banded together with Jephthah and went out raiding with him. Judges 11:3

In Jephthah’s case The Lord saw him as a ‘mighty man of valour’, however Jephthah’s background hindered him from seeing the vision that The Lord had for him, and instead of seeing a ‘mighty man of valour’ he chose to see a worthless man. Jephthah believed the word of his brothers instead of The Word of God, which caused him to move with people who were like minded.

So Gideon a ‘mighty warrior’ struggles to see beyond his current situation, and Jephthah a ‘mighty man of valour’ is discouraged by his background. I believe we can all identify with this. Often the enemy distracts or discourages us from believing the vision that The Lord has for us, that we either choose to stay where we are, or move into what others believe best suits us.

Believe me when I say this that The Lord is about to bring a revival. A time is going to come where those who doubted you, discouraged you, didn’t believe in the vision that The Lord has for you, will witness the great calling upon your life.

It came to pass after a time that the people of Ammon made war against Israel. Judges 11:4

And so it was, when the people of Ammon made war against Israel, that the elders of Gilead went to get Jephthah from the land of Tob. Judges 11:5

Then they said to Jephthah, “Come and be our commander, that we may fight against the people of Ammon.” Judges 11:6

So Jephthah said to the elders of Gilead, “Did you not hate me, and expel me from my father’s house? Why have you come to me now when you are in distress?” Judges 11:7

And the elders of Gilead said to Jephthah, “That is why we have turned again to you now, that you may go with us and fight against the people of Ammon, and be our head over all the inhabitants of Gilead.” Judges 11:8

If He did it for Gideon and for Jephthah then why should our case be different? He will surely do it for you just believe in the vision, see the vision, live the vision.

The aim of the enemy is to stop you from fulfilling your purpose, he will try but do not give him the chance to succeed.

The Lord has already started a great work within you, and He will surely turn your situation around just have faith and believe.

Quit wasting your time with people who do not desire to move into greatness. Remember that whatever The Lord has said He will surely bring to pass. The Lord is not concerned by your past that’s in the old, we are a new creation therefore The Lord is interested in the new.

Even where you are right now The Lord sees greatness, even though you took a wrong turn The Lord sees greatness, our God is faithful and is able to turn you around into the right direction.

Now is the time to have faith, to heed to His voice, and to move into His perfect will. You will witness greatness, and all those around you will witness the glory of The Lord.
It’s all about God at the end of the day, and we ought to showcase His glory, our life is a testimony.
If He did it for Gideon and for Jephthah then why should our case be different? He will surely do it for you just believe in the vision, see the vision, live the vision.
