31 “In that day, he who is on the housetop, and his goods are in the house, let him not come down to take them away. And likewise the one who is in the field, let him not turn back. 32 Remember Lot’s wife. 33 Whoever seeks to save his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it. Luke 17:31-33
The key to moving forward is to focus and to not look back because once you do you are wasting your precious potential time to progress, you are literally closing your own doors, and putting your own destiny at risk.
Take Lot’s wife for example simple instructions God gave “Do not look back” and what did she do? Best believe Lot’s wife listened to her mind, her flesh, her own reasoning, disobeyed God, and looked back because to Lot’s wife it made sense to remain where she was because it was safe, it was familiar, and she had no idea where God was taking her to anyway.
This is how we tend to behave most of the time we would rather stay safe than go in faith, and as believers we must understand that FAITH is where our strength lies.
Yes focus is the key to moving forward but if we have no faith then best believe we are not going anywhere.
Lot had that faith he saw he understood that where he was was not where God had intended for him to be, and lets not forget Abraham he was a man of faith and wisdom, and this is the area where Lot seemed to lack most in, because if he had had wisdom then he would not have argued over dwelling in the land of Sodom and Gommorah.
When you have wisdom and faith then it is impossible for you to remain stagnant.
It is however a shame that most believers have ended up like Lot’s wife ending their destinies turning them into pillars of salt because they do not understand the importance of priority, focus, faith, and wisdom.
My friend always says ‘The best is only good enough for me’, and yes as it rightly should be because why should I settle for less?
Do we even understand how privileged we are to be called sons of God? A Royal Priesthood, why then is that royalty not being seen?
Brethren a change must happen, and that change starts with YOU.
YOU must make that decision to change YOUR destiny, and nobody else YOU must guard it jealously because YOUR destiny is YOUR life.
The amount of destinies that have been turned to nothing but pillars of salt and its due to our own ignorant mentality of not knowing the value, the worth of our destinies.
God help us.
Brethren 2016 was my stepping stone but 2017 must be the year in which I take a leap pf faith from that stepping stone and branch off into much greater and higher things according to the perfect will of God of course.
Choose to look up to Jesus the author and the finisher of our faith, follow Him and refuse to turn back.
I will wait for you Jesus

All my hopes in you Jesus

We thank God for the 170th blogpost so many beautiful words released from the Holy Spirit and it has been a joy sharing those words with you. I wish you all a Merry Christmas but most of all a destiny changing 2017. Seven is a divine number and since its 2017 we shall be seeing double of God’s wonders.
