DaFruits of Deliverance.(Setting The Captives Free.)❣

IMG_3151
Welcome to the beautiful month of May!
How ironic last month in May I shared on Jeremiah, and I’ll be doing the same again glory be to God.
God has given me so many revelations in the book of Jeremiah, and I pray His Word blesses you amen.
So who was Jeremiah?
Well Jeremiah was a young prophet who is often described as the weeping prophet because he lived in a very trying time.
He lived amongst a very stubborn generation, and in the midst of this very stubborn generation were many false teachers, prophets, pastors, and priests, that were preaching, teaching, and prophesying lies just to satisfy many that were reluctant to hearing the Truth because of how sharp, blunt, and harsh the Truth sounded, it made his generation feel uncomfortable, and so they would rather believe the lies of the enemy than the True Word of God.
Does this sound familiar?
Pretty much so, as we are living in a similar generation.
Many wolves in sheep clothing, many deceptions, many Luke warm Christians, our generation is just as stubborn as that of Jeremiah’s generation.
Now I’d like to re-emphasise on the fact that Jeremiah was a YOUNG prophet, he was called in his youth.
Just imagine how scary that must have been, but God empowered Jeremiah with His raw fire, which enabled him to boldly withstand the wails of the enemy, and to speak the Word of Truth no matter what.
Jeremiah in Prison.
IMG_3152
Jeremiah faced persecution in the form of being falsely imprisoned, but in the midst of being persecuted The Lord never left nor forsook him.
Moreover the word of The Lord came to Jeremiah a second time, while he was still shut up in the court of prison, saying,
Jeremiah 33:1
Thus says the Lord who made it, the Lord who formed it to establish it(the Lord is His name):
Jeremiah 33:2
Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’
Jeremiah 33:3
The Lord is mighty to save, He is mighty to deliver.
The Lord is our Comforter, our Buckler, our Shield, and in the midst of the storms He shall surely uphold you with His mighty Hands of righteousness.
The Lord encouraged Jeremiah to not forget who He is, what The Lord has begun He shall surely bring into completion, and that’s perfection.
In the midst of Jeremiah’s dark hour, The Lord still spoke, and He still revealed to redeem.
Remember every child of God will face trying times, storms, battles, tests, trials, challenges, persecutions it all fits into the fruit of the spirit called ‘Long Suffering’, the question is what will you do when such times arise? It’s encouraging and a joy to know that God still spoke, meaning that He never abandoned Jeremiah. That was Jeremiah’s strength, it’s in your knowing, believing, and trusting in God, and that’s enough to guarantee you of victory.
Mercy, Forgiveness, Restoration.
I could not but help to bombard you with a whole lot of verses from Jeremiah 33, what a powerful chapter in Jeremiah.
The Lord is merciful, and He is more than willing to forgive even the most stubbornest, and the most darkest of hearts.
Yes God is a God of judgement, but He is also a God of mercy, of joy, of peace, and of loving kindness, and He does not wish for anyone to perish, in fact He is a God of another chance.
The truth is the Lord is more than willing to forgive us of our sins, which is why He sent is only begotten Son, His Branch of Righteousness whom is Jesus Christ to die for our sins, so that we may live, receive eternal life, and inherit the Kingdom of God.
Brethren, in the midst of your trials be sure that there is a day of tribulation, and be also rest assured that The Lord is present in your life at all times.
You will know that God is present in your life, when you first get to know Him, by first seeking Him.
Take it this way, He SPEAKS when you SEEK Him, and when He speaks He comforts, and He strengthens you.
The Lord sends The Comforter which is the Holy Spirit, your Helper.
He will help you in your time of trouble, in your time of need, for He is
Step into the Light, and worship The Lord in Spirit and in Truth.
We live to worship The Lord, that’s our sacrificial service, and He deserves so much more.
All the glory belongs to our Heavenly Father, be blessed as you read the scriptures below.
Behold, I will bring it health and healing; I will heal them the abundance of peace and truth.
Jeremiah 33:6
And I will cause the captives of Israel to return, and will rebuild those places as at the first.
Jeremiah 33:7
and I will cleanse them from all the in iniquity by which they have sinned against Me, and I will pardon all their iniquities by which they have sinned and by which they have transgressed against Me.
Jeremiah 33:8
Then it shall be to Me a name of joy, a praise, and an honour before all nations of the earth, who shall hear all the good that I do to them; they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and all the prosperity that I provide for it.’
Jeremiah 33:9
The voice of joy and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bride-groom and the voice of the bride, the voice of those who will say:
“Praise the Lord of hosts,
 For the Lord is good,
 For His mercies endures forever”_
and of those who will bring the sacrifice of praise info the house of the Lord. For I will cause the captives of the land to return as at the first’, says The Lord
Jeremiah 33:11
Behold the days are coming,’ says the  Lord, ‘that I will perform that good thing which I have promised to the house of Israel and to the house of Judah:
Jeremiah 33:14
In those days and at that time
I will cause to grow up to David
A branch of righteousness;
He shall execute judgement and righteousness to the earth.
Jeremiah 33:15
In those days Judah will be saved,
And Jerusalem will dwell safely.
And this is the name by which she will be called:
THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.’
Jeremiah 33:16
For thus says the Lord: ‘David shall never lack a man to sit on the throne of the house of Israel;
Jeremiah 33:17
Nor shall the priests, the Levites, lack a man to offer burnt offerings before Me, to kindle grain offerings, and to sacrifice continually.'”
Jeremiah 33:18
And the word of the Lord came to
Is there a covenant for day and night?
Breaking God’s covenant destroys or hinders the breakthrough of your season refusing to repent creates a hopeless place for you no night no day. Sometimes we create our own prisons
For I will cause their captives to return, and will have mercy on them
Jeremiah 33:25
“It may be that the house of Judah will hear all the adversities which I purpose to bring upon them, that everyone may turn from his evil way, that I may forgive their iniquity and their sin.””
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭36:3‬
Hide Me in Your Love
IMG_3163
“Then the princes said to Baruch, “Go and hide, you and Jeremiah; and let no one know where you are.””
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭36:19‬
Jeremiah instructed Baruch sending him to write what the Lord spoke, and
Baruch obeyed the word of The Lord.
When we respect the Word of The Lord, when we honour Godly authority, and when we serve in humility, then there is no way that The Lord will deliver you into the hands of the enemy, rather He will hide you in His love, and deliver you from the devourer.
It’s important that we listen to, and obey the voice of God.
Baruch could’ve ignored, and disobeyed the voice of God but he chose not to, and this caused God to protect and overshadow him in his love.
“And the king commanded Jerahmeel the king’s son, Seraiah the son of Azriel, and Shelemiah the son of Abdeel, to seize Baruch the scribe and Jeremiah the prophet, but the LORD hid them.”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭36:26‬
The Lord will hide, protect, and deliver you, but you must first obey Him.
That’s the true way to receive your deliverance.
You see the scripture says where the spirit of The Lord is there is freedom, there is liberty.
Can anyone ever be free whilst harbouring fear of man in their hearts? No.
One cannot be delivered if they are fearful, because fear is what traps you, it does not set you free.
Therefore rid yourselves of fear, and pray to The Lord to help you, so that you can receive deliverance, and be set free.
Remember obedience is key, it’s not always easy, but it is the key to your door of breakthrough.
Baruch chose faith over fear, and the enemy was not happy, but God protected him.
Brethren, at the end of the day it all boils down to you knowing who has the final say in your life, and as for me  I know it’s Jehovah, He has the final say.
He turns my life around, He makes a way where there seems no way, He surely has the final say.
Troubling The Kingdom of darkness
“And when he was in the Gate of Benjamin, a captain of the guard was there whose name was Irijah the son of Shelemiah, the son of Hananiah; and he seized Jeremiah the prophet, saying, “You are defecting to the Chaldeans!””
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭37:13‬
To defect means to be against, to not be apart of, to rebel, and that’s what Jeremiah was known as to the Chaldeans, he was seen as a threat.
I like to interpret this as Jeremiah was  identified as a troubler to Kingdom of darkness.
Jeremiah spoke the Word of Truth, in Hebrews 4:12 the bible tells us that the Word of Truth is sharper than any two edged sword, meaning the enemy cannot stand the Truth which is the Word of God.
Think about it, do you consider yourself to be a troubler of the kingdom of darkness?
Because if you are you must first be sure of who you are in Christ, if you know who you are in Christ then you will know that you have power, dominion, and authority over the kingdom of darkness, simply because  by knowing who you are in Jesus Christ you know for sure who Jesus is, because you are an exact replica of Him.
Secondly, you must be sure that you are a carrier of the raw and undiluted fire of God.
Jeremiah said in Jeremiah 20:9 that he tried to withhold the Word of The Lord but he could not, because His Word was like a FIRE SHUT UP in his bones!
Wow, powerful, now that’s a troubler of the kingdom of darkness.
You see it’s The Fire of the Lord that fuels the power to enable you to preach, teach, prophesy, and even pray.
Jeremiah says he tried to withhold God’s Word, but he could not because of His Fire.
If you don’t have that fire, then you better pray for it.
Again I would encourage you to ask yourself these questions:
  1. Are you threat to the enemy?
  2. Is the enemy comfortable around you, or uncomfortable?
  3. Does the enemy get irritated at your presence because you are a carrier of God’s raw fire?
Think about it.
“Therefore the princes said to the king, “Please, let this man be put to death, for thus he weakens the hands of the men of war who remain in this city, and the hands of all the people, by speaking such words to them. For this man does not seek the welfare of this people, but their harm.””
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭38:4‬
Speaking the word of truth weakens the enemy.
If the enemy is comfortable around you it means you are not a friend of God, rather you are a friend of satan.
That’s deep.
To be a friend of God requires much boldness, trying times, long suffering, and long suffering is pretty much a part of the friendship, dying to self daily so that you forever remain victorious, now that’s a friend of God.
“Therefore the princes were angry with Jeremiah, and they struck him and put him in prison in the house of Jonathan the scribe. For they had made that the prison.”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭37:15‬
“When Jeremiah entered the dungeon and the cells, and Jeremiah had remained there many days,”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭37:16‬ ‭
Fear no man, but God
IMG_3159
“then Zedekiah the king sent and took him out. The king asked him secretly in his house, and said, “Is there any word from the LORD?” And Jeremiah said, “There is.” Then he said, “You shall be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon!””
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭37:17‬
Notice how King Zedekiah came nicodemusly  to Jeremiah he feared man more than he did God.
Listen, The Lord will take you out of captivity, but first you need to believe and know that the enemy cannot strike your soul neither can he touch your life.
Do not fear the one who destroys the body, rather fear the one who can destroy both the body and soul.
Jeremiah feared God alone, remember the enemy cannot harm you, unless you give yourself to him, and when you allow fear to take hold of you, you open the gateway for him to tamper with your destiny.
Choose to obey, trust, and listen to the voice of God.
He knows your beginning, and He knows your end.
Fear is false evidence appearing real.
Fear does nothing but distort your view, causes you to doubt, and confuse you.
“And Zedekiah the king said to Jeremiah, “I am afraid of the Jews who have defected to the Chaldeans, lest they deliver me into their hand, and they abuse me.””
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭38:19‬
“But Jeremiah said, “They shall not deliver you. Please, obey the voice of the LORD which I speak to you. So it shall be well with you, and your soul shall live.”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭38:20‬
“But if you refuse to surrender, this is the word that the LORD has shown me:
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭38:21‬
“‘Now behold, all the women who are left in the king of Judah’s house shall be surrendered to the king of Babylon’s princes, and those women shall say: “Your close friends have set upon you And prevailed against you; Your feet have sunk in the mire, And they have turned away again.””
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭38:22‬
“‘So they shall surrender all your wives and children to the Chaldeans. You shall not escape from their hand, but shall be taken by the hand of the king of Babylon. And you shall cause this city to be burned with fire.’ ””
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭38:23‬
Brethren, PLEASE obey the voice of God no matter what so that God can deliver you, else you will face the disgraceful consequence of being delivered into the hands of the enemy.
Jeremiah spoke the Word of Truth no matter what, no matter how displeasing it was to the King even if it meant remaining in prison, and because of Jeremiah’s obedience God favoured him, he sustained, strengthened, and uplifted him, with the Bread of Life.
Give us this day our Daily Bread.
“Then Zedekiah the king commanded that they should commit Jeremiah to the court of the prison, and that they should give him daily a piece of bread from the bakers’ street, until all the bread in the city was gone. Thus Jeremiah remained in the court of the prison.”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭37:21‬
Obedience is The Key To Unlocking The Prize of Life.
IMG_3160
““Thus says the LORD: ‘He who remains in this city shall die by the sword, by famine, and by pestilence; but he who goes over to the Chaldeans shall live; his life shall be as a prize to him, and he shall live.’”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭38:2‬
Ebed Melech the Ethiopian Eunuch, had the boldness to go to the Chaldeans and enquire of the well being of Jeremiah, and therefore his life was spared and was a prize to him.
True life is a prize to be won, true life is eternity.
As Christians we ought to run the race for Jesus Christ, striving and persevering to please Him, as well as pursuing righteousness.
As we strive and persevere to please Him, He will show His faithfulness, encouraging, and strengthening us to continue, building our stamina, comforting, helping, He will evidently portray His faithfulness towards us.
The more you run for Jesus Christ, the more He will elevate you to higher heights, stretching you, and moulding you into His very likeness, into the best you.
And even if you stumble, you shall never remain down, He will always pick you right back up, and get you to that finishing line.
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
‭‭II Timothy‬ ‭4:7‬
“Now Ebed-Melech the Ethiopian, one of the eunuchs, who was in the king’s house, heard that they had put Jeremiah in the dungeon. When the king was sitting at the Gate of Benjamin,”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭38:7‬
“Then the king commanded Ebed-Melech the Ethiopian, saying, “Take from here thirty men with you, and lift Jeremiah the prophet out of the dungeon before he dies.””
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭38:10‬
“So Ebed-Melech took the men with him and went into the house of the king under the treasury, and took from there old clothes and old rags, and let them down by ropes into the dungeon to Jeremiah.”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭38:11‬ ‭
“Then Ebed-Melech the Ethiopian said to Jeremiah, “Please put these old clothes and rags under your armpits, under the ropes.” And Jeremiah did so.”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭38:12‬
“So they pulled Jeremiah up with ropes and lifted him out of the dungeon. And Jeremiah remained in the court of the prison.”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭38:13‬
“Meanwhile the word of the LORD had come to Jeremiah while he was shut up in the court of the prison, saying,”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭39:15‬
““Go and speak to Ebed-Melech the Ethiopian, saying, ‘Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: “Behold, I will bring My words upon this city for adversity and not for good, and they shall be performed in that day before you.”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭39:16‬
“But I will deliver you in that day,” says the LORD, “and you shall not be given into the hand of the men of whom you are afraid.”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭39:17
“For I will surely deliver you, and you shall not fall by the sword; but your life shall be as a prize to you, because you have put your trust in Me,” says the LORD.’ ””
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭39:18‬
The Lord never ceases to speak, even in the midst of adversity He still speaks.
Whoever puts their trust in The Lord their life shall be as a prize to them, they will win the race, but whoever puts their trust in man shall surely perish, they shall lose the race.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭3:16‬
The enemy can do you NO harm.
Brethren, the enemy cannot hold you captive, the enemy cannot keep you down, lift up your head for the King of glory is near.
Who is the King of glory, the Lord strong and mighty, He is the King of glory, and He is more than able to deliver you.
Brethren, the enemy CANNOT harm you.
DO NOT be afraid, for THE LORD IS WITH YOU.
“Now Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon gave charge concerning Jeremiah to Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard, saying,”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭39:11‬
““Take him and look after him, and do him no harm; but do to him just as he says to you.””
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭39:12‬
Remember enemy can do you no harm because of the authority and the power you have through Jesus Christ.
God has given you the power to trample upon fierce lions, and even poisonous snakes!
What an amazing, and mighty God we serve!
Angels bow before Him, heaven and earth adore Him.
What a mighty God we serve.
“then they sent someone to take Jeremiah from the court of the prison, and committed him to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, that he should take him home. So he dwelt among the people.”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭39:14‬
Not only will The Lord deliver you, but He will also take care of you.
Favour in The Midst of Captivity.

Lastly, The Lord shall favour you in the midst of captivity.
He shall uplift you.
He shall cause great men, and great women to speak kindly to you.
He shall give you a more prominent seat amongst your peers.
He shall lift your head.
He shall change your countenance, surround you in His glory, and cause His face to shine upon you.
He shall reward you with life in abundance.
Brethren, He shall set you free.
“Now it came to pass in the thirty-seventh year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, on the twenty-fifth day of the month, that Evil-Merodach king of Babylon, in the first year of his reign, lifted up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah and brought him out of prison.”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭52:31‬
“And he spoke kindly to him and gave him a more prominent seat than those of the kings who were with him in Babylon.”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭52:32‬
“So Jehoiachin changed from his prison garments, and he ate bread regularly before the king all the days of his life.”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭52:33‬
“And as for his provisions, there was a regular ration given him by the king of Babylon, a portion for each day until the day of his death, all the days of his life.”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭52:34‬
““The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, Because the LORD has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭61:1‬ ‭
To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn,”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭61:2
