Now Sarai, Abram’s wife, had borne him no children. And she had an Egyptian maidservant whose name was Hagar. Genesis‬ ‭16‬:‭1‬

So Sarai said to Abram, “See now, the LORD has restrained me from bearing children. Please, go in to my maid; perhaps I shall obtain children by her.” And Abram heeded the voice of Sarai. Genesis‬ ‭16‬:‭2‬

God’s best is never second best.
God will never give you second best.

God promises the best but His best is never predictable.
God’s best comes at His own destined time.
God’s best never brings compromise.
God’s best is ever faithful, ever sure.
God’s best never brings regret
God’s best never brings confusion.
God’s best is often too difficult to comprehend.
God’s best supersedes human understanding.
Faith is the key that unlocks God’s best.
God’s best is truth.
God’s best adds no sorrow.

Second best is from satan.
satan’s best is a counterfeit, looks like the real deal but it never really is.
satan’s best is deceiving, manipulative, misleading, and always twists The Truth.
satan will make you settle for less, whether it’s your career or your relationship.
satan teaches the world to rush, whereas God teaches The Kingdom to wait on His perfect time.
There is no time wasted when we wait on God’s timing.
In Christ we move, we live, and we have our very being.
satan always tries to distract and discourage believers from entering into God’s best.

Most men and women of God struggle with obeying The Lord, and waiting on The Lord.
It all started with God’s first human beings Adam, and Eve.
Adam and Eve were in God’s perfect will until they listened to satan, which kicked them out of God’s best, out of the garden of Eden, out of God’s presence.

Disobeying God not waiting on The Lord has it’s consequences, and sadly those consequences can sometimes last for a lifetime.

The angel of the Lord also said to her: “You are now pregnant and you will give birth to a son. You shall name him Ishmael, for the Lord has heard of your misery. Genesis‬ ‭16‬:‭11‬

He will be a wild donkey of a man; his hand will be against everyone and everyone’s hand against him, and he will live in hostility toward all his brothers.” Genesis‬ ‭16‬:‭12‬

Ishmael will live in hostility towards all his brothers.
Ishmael will live in hostility towards Isaac.
Nations have and are still living in hostility towards Isaac.
Who is Isaac?
Israel.
Jewish.
Christians.
Who is Ishmael?
Arab.
Muslims.
Isis.
are against Israel.

Repent for The Kingdom of God is at hand.

Then He said to Abram: “Know certainly that your descendants will be strangers in a land that is not theirs, and will serve them, and they will afflict them four hundred years. Genesis‬ ‭15‬:‭13‬

Israel is God’s best.
Israel is God’s first fruits.
That is why when the Israelites were held in captivity for four hundred years by the Egyptians, The Lord told pharaoh to let His people go!

And also the nation whom they serve I will judge; afterward they shall come out with great possessions. Genesis‬ ‭15‬:‭14‬

Then the LORD said to Moses, “Go in to Pharaoh and tell him, ‘Thus says the LORD God of the Hebrews: “Let My people go, that they may serve Me. Exodus‬ ‭9‬:‭1‬

Whoever fights against God’s first born is cursed.

But in the fourth generation they shall return here, for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet complete.” Genesis‬ ‭15‬:‭16‬

God reveals His best to those that diligently seek Him, to those that worship Him in Spirit and in Truth.
God revealed His best to Abraham, Abraham believed, and because he believed God accounted it to him for righteousness.

And he believed in the LORD, and He accounted it to him for righteousness. ‭Genesis‬ ‭15‬:‭6‬

Then He brought him outside and said, “Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them.” And He said to him, “So shall your descendants be.” Genesis‬ ‭15‬:‭5

Imagine if you was in Abraham’s situation, and God is saying that you will become the father of many nations in your old age, and you don’t even have a child of your own yet?
Impossible, I’m sure most of us would respond that way.
But do you know that God’s best supersedes the norm?
He works in mysterious ways.
God’s ways often do not make any sense at all.
His ways are indescribable, unquestionable, unfathomable, incomparable, unpredictable, unimaginable, untameable.
His ways are unique.
That’s why I admire men and women of God whom are not afraid to walk in their unique anointing, and gifts.
I admire men and women of God that are not afraid to be different, neither do the they apologise for who they are in Christ.
Never apologise for being different.
Never apologise for the anointing upon your life.

That is why when God uses us, He uses us in different ways, which means that we all have different callings, which means His best is made available to His children at different times.
We must learn to wait on God’s perfect timing.
His time is the best
Whereas satan, well there’s nothing new about satan he uses the same old tricks to keep us out of God’s best, out of God’s perfect will.

When you are getting closer to where The Lord wants you to be that is when satan will try to distract, discourage you, confuse you to deter you away from God’s best.
satan attempted to do it to Joseph.
satan is afraid of a child of God with vision.
A child of God with vision is powerful, influential, a force to be reckoned with.
Joseph found favour in Potiphar’s house, but satan tried to use Potiphar’s wife to deter Joseph from God’s best.

Joseph resisted satan’s temptation, and instead yielded to the will of God keeping his eyes fixed on God, Joseph did not lose his faith.
In hopeless situations we must never fail on holding onto our faith, faith gives us access into God’s best, without it we will always be in satan’s second best.
Do not let this be you.
Yes there are many things going on around you, and yes I may never understand what you are going through, but I want you to know that God will never leave nor forsake you.
Stop comparing yourself to others, quit focusing on all that is going on around you, and start focusing on God.

I want to make you understand how the enemy attempts to deceive us into taking from him what God has already given to us, and how the enemy tries to discourage us from who God says we are into believing what he says we are.
I mentioned earlier how the enemy is very crafty and he twists truth.
God gave Adam and Eve an instruction, and satan manipulated Eve by suggesting otherwise, by questioning the truth.
satan tempted Eve, and now satan gave her a counterfeit, satan gave her second best, satan gave Adam and Eve a counterfeit of what already belonged to them, God’s inheritance, God’s blessings, God’s provision, God’s favour, God’s Kingdom, eternal life, all of it belonged to them but they failed to keep their eyes on God, that’s the difference between them, and Joseph.

satan does not give up, therefore why should we?
Why should we stop praying?
Why should we stop fasting?
satan prowls around like a roaring Lion seeking whom to devour, seeking whom to distract, to discourage, to divert, to deter, in order to destroy.
satan is not trying to destroy you because of you because of you, satan is trying to destroy you because of God’s best in you,
because you are an heir of salvation, because you are born of His Spirit, because you are purchased of God, because you are a carrier of His vision.
If satan can see God’s best in YOU, why are YOU failing to see GOD’s best in you?

If satan tried to distract, discourage, and destroy JESUS!!!
How much more me and you?!!

Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.” Matthew‬ ‭4‬:‭3‬

satan asked Jesus if He is?
Knowing fully well that Jesus is The Son of God.
You see that is what the enemy tries to do to a lot of believers today.
satan tries to dissuade you from believing who God says you are.
How do we respond to the enemy?
With the very Word of God.

But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ ” Matthew‬ ‭4‬:‭4‬

satan had come when Jesus was hungry, and weak.
Jesus has just fasted for forty days and forty nights, surely his heart was troubled.

And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward He was hungry. Matthew‬ ‭4‬:‭2‬

The enemy comes at your weakest point, that’s why The Lord said we must pray without ceasing.
His Word must be inscribed on our hearts, that is our weapon against the enemy.
That shows that we know who we are in Christ Jesus.

Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.” Matthew‬ ‭4‬:‭3‬

Now satan tried to tempt Jesus with the very thing that he had restricted himself from food!

But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ ” Matthew‬ ‭4‬:‭4‬

But again The Lord responds with The Word, the truth, and the truth sets us free.
It’s the very Word of God that rebukes satan, he is powerless.

Then the devil took Him up into the holy city, set Him on the pinnacle of the temple, Matthew‬ ‭4‬:‭5‬
and said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down. For it is written: ‘He shall give His angels charge over you,’ and, ‘In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone.’ ” Matthew‬ ‭4‬:‭6‬

Now the enemy is using scriptures, and he is twisting the truth.
satan is pretty much telling Jesus to commit suicide.

Jesus said to him, “It is written again, ‘You shall not tempt the LORD your God.’ ” Matthew‬ ‭4‬:‭7‬

Again Jesus responds with The Word.
Now do you notice that the enemy will never leave a believer alone once God’s Hand is upon you, the enemy will try to destroy you, that is why you must stand in His Word, be consistent in prayer, and be strong.

Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. Matthew‬ ‭4‬:‭8‬
And he said to Him, “All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.” Matthew‬ ‭4‬:‭9‬

satan is now telling Jesus of the things that already belongs to Him.
It’s funny isn’t it, that the enemy is even proposing such a proposition when the world, and every Kingdom belongs to The Lord Most High!
It’s funny when we think about it but the sad reality is that many still go and foolishly sell their souls to the devil for what The Lord has promised them.
Many have settled for second class when God has already promised them first class, giving them the dominion and authority over all.
Never envy anyone that has sold their soul to the devil, they are fools, they are not rich they are poor.

Then Jesus said to him, “Away with you, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the LORD your God, and Him only you shall serve.’ ” Matthew‬ ‭4‬:‭10‬

Rebuke satan with the very Word of God, and when you do satan will have no other option but to flee.
There is power in His Word.

Then the devil left Him, and behold, angels came and ministered to Him. Matthew‬ ‭4‬:‭11‬

The Lord is Your encourager, comforter, shelter, and shield.
You have the power to overcome the world, because Jesus overcame the world for you.
His best is inside of you, you are getting closer to where The Lord has destined for you to be.
Do not give up!
Sure, it’s difficult it’s not easy but trust in The Lord for it is always worth it!
You can do it because He says you can.
You can do all things through Christ, He is your strength, your joy, your peace.

Look to God’s best, and like Abraham believe for it is through your belief, it is through your faith that He makes accountable for righteousness.
And like Joseph do not give up, no matter what you are going through focus on the vision and not on all that’s going on around you, and when you do you shall surely enter into God’s best.

Never settle for less, always desire to have God’s best and God’s best in abundance in every area of your life.
You are worth more than what the media says, than what the world says, than what man says.
You are a royal priesthood, you are royalty, you are precious, wonderfully and beautifully made in the perfect image of God.
Keep Your eyes fixed on God, His best is just around the corner.
Wait on The Lord and be blessed.❤️🙌

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah‬ ‭29‬:‭11‬❤️🙏

Though your beginning was small, Yet your latter end would increase abundantly. Job‬ ‭8‬:‭7‬❤️🙏

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭33‬
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭34❤️🙏
