But when you pray, go into your [most] private room, and, closing the door, pray to your Father, Who is in secret; and your Father, Who sees in secret, will reward you in the open. Matthew 6:6
I’m just reflecting on my youth retreat I enjoyed His presence so much I was not looking forward to returning back home.
I wasn’t looking forward to coming back to London, coming back to my job, I just wanted to continue waking up to pray and worship God.
I just couldn’t get enough of God I wanted more, I desired more of His fire more of His presence.
I could relate to the testimonies that people give about not wanting to return back to earth when they visit heaven, because really nothing compares to being in the presence of God for eternity, no distractions just you and God.
Isn’t that amazing!
When I came back from the retreat I couldn’t switch on the TV lol like honestly it took me a few days before I could start watching it again I was so used to just being in His beautiful wonderful amazing presence, and TV just couldn’t match that.
Believers it’s only when we spend time in the presence of God that we understand that nothing else really matters, nothing else and no one can compare to Him.
Desiring to please God won’t be a challenge, once you spend time in His presence you will make pleasing God your number one priority!
Striving for righteousness won’t be a challenge for you if you’ve spent time in the beauty of His holiness.
You see we will make excuses when we do not put the effort into building our relationship with God, and in these last days there really is no time for believers to make excuses.
Of course we will make excuses if we have fed the desires of our flesh and starved The Spirit.
If we spend most of our time dwelling in sin there’s no way we will desire to spend time in God’s presence.
We will just continue to make the excuse of how difficult it is to serve God, blinded by our own sin we will begin to believe the lie that it is ok to dwell within it.
That’s dangerous, that’s the road headed for destruction.
Can darkness comprehend Light?
What business does Light have with darkness?
A believer cannot be yoked to an unbeliever.
Trust me once you spend time in His presence you will not want to leave, In fact when we spend time in His presence we never leave the same way.
Like Moses He will cause His countenance to shine upon us.
Now it was so, when Moses came down from Mount Sinai (and the two tablets of the Testimony were in Moses’ hand when he came down from the mountain), that Moses did not know that the skin of his face shone while he talked with Him. Exodus 34:29
And whenever the children of Israel saw the face of Moses, that the skin of Moses’ face shone, then Moses would put the veil on his face again, until he went in to speak with Him. Exodus 34:35
Moses I love that man of God, a man God described as His friend.
Why? Because he spent most of his time dwelling in the presence of God that’s why, and God loves that He desires intimacy with His children.
His light will shine so bright others will not be able to comprehend it, people will see us and they will witness the glory of The Lord because of the time that we have sacrificed to spend in His presence, in the secret place.
Nothing and no one compares to His beautiful presence.
The more time you spend in His presence the more you will thirst for Him, hunger for Him, the more He will fill you with His fire and it shall never cease!
I could go on and on but I just want to encourage someone to make up their mind to give their time to The Lord.
Make God your priority, now that doesn’t mean I’m advising you to leave school or your job, no!
It simply means in all your ways acknowledge Him, in everything you do put God first even in the area of your studies.
Remember God is wisdom, and wisdom begins with The Lord.
Seek Him first, and trust Him everything else shall be added unto you.
Love His presence.
He loves you and desires your time.
If you’re a believer you need to give Him that no more excuses.
The more excuses you make to not spend time in His presence, the more available you make yourself to be in the presence of satan, and trust me there ain’t nothing good that ever comes from dwelling in evil, nothing lasts, it’s empty, it’s unhappy.
Give God you’re time, He gave you time, He loves you.
[Let your] love be sincere (a real thing); hate what is evil [loathe all ungodliness, turn in horror from wickedness], but hold fast to that which is good. Romans 12:9
O you who love the Lord, hate evil; He preserves the lives of His saints (the children of God), He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked. [Rom. 8:13-17.] Psalm 97:10
The reverent fear and worshipful awe of the Lord [includes] the hatred of evil; pride, arrogance, the evil way, and perverted and twisted speech I hate. Proverbs 8:13
Please Christians lets just be that Christians, and not lukewarm Christians.
No more joking about, get stuck into His Word.
Use the time that He has given you for His glory.
It’s all about Him it’s not about us.
Remember heaven and hell are both eternal.
This earth and everything in it shall fade away.
For the unbeliever and for the lukewarm Christian, the choice is absolutely yours.
Use your time wisely, and how do I do that?
By spending every moment with The King, and that’s not necessarily just by going to church but it all comes down to YOUR personal relationship with Him.
Acknowledge Him everywhere and anywhere He is interested in every area of your life.
He loves you, give Him your time after all He is the only One who truly deserves it.
But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides. Matthew 6:33
For a thousand years in Your sight are but as yesterday when it is past, or as a watch in the night. [II Pet. 3:8.] Psalm 90:4
For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome. Jeremiah 29:11
Like newborn babies you should crave (thirst for, earnestly desire) the pure (unadulterated) spiritual milk, that by it you may be nurtured and grow unto [completed] salvation, 1 Peter 2:2
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. [Prov. 6:23.] Psalm 119:105
But be doers of the Word [obey the message], and not merely listeners to it, betraying yourselves [into deception by reasoning contrary to the Truth]. James 1:22
Glory be to the Most High The Lord Jesus Christ for His Word.
