Sing to GOD a brand-new song. He’s made a world of wonders! He rolled up his sleeves, He set things right. ‭Psalm‬ ‭98‬:‭1‬

What does it mean to sing a new song to The Lord?

First of all we must understand that our new song is worship, worship is more than a song, and can never get old.

When we begin to sing sing a new song unto The Most High we make room for Him in our hearts, and when we make room for Him in our hearts only then will we begin to capture a true revelation of The King of kings, and The Lord of lords whom is our Saviour Jesus.

He says sing a new song unto me, and you will discover the change that I so much desire to see within you.
Remember that the old song is of the devil, and when I say old song I am hypothetically speaking.
I’m not saying that every song that is old is evil.
What I am saying is that when we sing about Jesus that is our worship, our worship never gets old, we are forever singing a new song unto The Lord for He is beautiful beyond description, too marvellous for words, so wonderful for comprehension, like nothing ever seen or heard.
Who can grasp His infinite wisdom?!
Who can fathom the depths of His love?!
He is beautiful beyond description, His majesty enthrones His love.
We can only stand in awe of Him, He is holy and all praise is due to Him.
He deserves all the glory.

The ways of The Lord never gets old, He is new every morning.
He is unpredictable, we cannot predict what He will do.
His ways are higher than our ways, His thoughts are higher than our thoughts.
With this kind of God that we are serving it is impossible to sing the same song about Him, our words cannot even describe the beauty of His majesty.
He is above all.
That’s why He says sing a new song for He deserves a new song, and with every new song we all experience different encounters, which is of course ALL for His glory.

So as Christians, as followers of Christ, as believers of His true living Word, we ought to sing new songs which brings glory to His Name, and I’d just like to say as well that by singing the same song to The Lord does not necessarily mean the song is old.
Someone can sing hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah and catch a new revelation each time they sing it.

For example I absolutely love Michael W Smith!🔥❤️ OMG that man is a worshipper lol so anyway I can listen to him singing the heart of worship all day everyday, and I’m telling you that song never gets old.
How can a song about Him being the heart of our worship ever get old?
It’s impossible.
Worshipping God never gets old.

As Christians it is important, it is a must that we sing a new song that glorifies The Holy Spirit and not the , flesh.
When I say it is a must bear in mind that we have free will so we still have a choice, however also bear in mind that whoever professes or proclaims to be a Christian automatically means that they are a follower of Christ, they have picked up their cross, they are willing to suffer for His Name’s sake, and die to everything that promotes self!

The Lord is not pleased by self, self promotes the old song of satan where it’s not all about God, but it’s all about ourselves.
That’s not the Heart of worship, that’s the heart of self.
It’s all about what I want, what I need, what pleases my heart’s desire and not that of God’s.
The old song is selfish, driven by it’s own lusts, self seeking, overcome by temptation, willing to yield to it’s own will and not the will of God.
The old song is prideful.

satan was a great and outstanding worshipper of God, but what kicked him out of heaven?
Pride.
satan promotes the song of pride.
The foolish belief that you are your own god, and that your ways are higher than His.
What a foolish belief for one whom was created by God to believe that there ways are higher than His.
PURE, and undiluted FOOLISHNESS .

It cannot be a surprise to any believer that we are in the last days, and I would really urge those who are lukewarm to get serious for God, because Jesus is not going to wait for you if you’re not prepared for His coming you better start now.
Time waits for no one and Jesus is only taking those that served Him in Spirit and in truth.
The sugarcoating song is another old popular song by satan he loves to deceive especially in the church.
Return back to Christ, and He’ll give you that spirit of discernment. Amen.

Listen, and listen very clearly the songs that we hear around us almost everyday proclaims the same old evil messages, there is nothing new about singing about lust, how good he or she is in bed, how sexy or hot mr so and so or mrs so and so looks, promoting sex before marriage, promoting relationships without the intention of getting married, cheating and heartbreaks(how could I be listening to such songs as a kid? No wonder if confused my idea of relationships, can you believe I even used to write songs about cheating and heartbreaks Lool oh dear), disillusioning the purpose of submission as a woman in marriage, violence, drugs and alcohol, being young and carefree, living recklessly for the moment without a care in the world for the future, and so on and so forth.

This is the same message, this is the same old song that keeps reoccurring over and over again and it is manifesting it’s ugly self amongst our generation.
The old song that promotes evil is so common that it’s pretty much the norm, it’s being accepted in society.
It’s ok for young women to degrade themselves, it’s ok for men to degrade women, it’s ok to have sex before marriage.

The old ways of satan distorts the new commandments that Jesus gave.

The world believes that the old ways of satan are right when really it’s wrong.
The ways of God are right.

How do I know that satan is using his old tricks over and over again?
Well didn’t satan try to tempt Jesus with the same things that he is trying to tempt us with now?
Think about that.
There is nothing new about satan.
Someone may argue that God’s ways are old, and for that person I would argue that there is nothing that is happening now that has not already happened before.
The days of Noah, Sodom and Gommorah, even when Moses was in the presence of God for forty days and forty nights the Israelites turned there backs on God, I could give do many more examples just to prove that there is nothing new about evil.

The old song of satan is the song of confusion.
Is it possible to sing about Jesus and then go perform half naked singing about lust, and saluting satan?
Can someone please tell me, does this really make any sense at all?!!
No!!! Of course it doesn’t!!
Then why then do believers think it’s ok to combine the old song of satan with the new song of God, of worship?!
God is not pleased with this at all, this is not the way we are supposed to worship God.
Worshipping God this way is basically worshipping him in the flesh, and the lie we only end up deceiving and confusing ourselves.

He says we cannot serve both God, and man, so then please tell me why are we trying to do just that?
Who is it that we are trying to please?
I don’t know about you but I’m living to please God, I’m striving for that victor’s crown.
Amen!!
How can we minister the lie and the truth at the same time?
It’s impossible, it’s unstable, we’re either for One and against the other.
The church must decide whom they are living for.
The church must decide whom they are serving, and to serve means to sacrifice so the church can not serve without first letting go of the world, of the flesh.
Who is it that we are tying to please is it God, or is it the world?

The Lord desires that we sing a new song that is so very pleasing to His ear.
A new song of thanksgiving, a new song of praise, of adoration, of worship.
It’s time to lift up holy hands and sing that new song, that song of truth, to the One whom deserves it most.

It’s time to stop compromising with the old and simply travel to the new.
We can only become new through Jesus Christ.
We can only become the righteousness of God through Jesus Christ.
Whoever rejects Jesus Christ can never be the righteousness of God, for it’s only by His grace that we live, we move, and we have our very being.
We deserved death, we deserved hell, but Jesus took that all away.
If it hadn’t been for His love, and for His grace I don’t know where we would be.

Lets not be double minded.
Blot out that old song that causes you to sin.
Blot out that old lie.
Believe me there is nothing of satan that can ever satisfy.
Let’s be stable, one minded, one body, unified in love, let’s continue to walk in love, and sing that new song of worship that draws us closer and closer to God, the very Heart of our worship.

What a privilege and an honour to worship at His throne, to be called to His presence as His own.
Lets strive for righteousness, to walk in His ways, and to sing of His love and goodness forever.
Amen.
