We thank God for this new season, the season of resting in Him.
In this season The Lord is saying My people, My children, My daughters, My sons DO NOT WORRY,
JUST REST IN ME.
The Lord says too many of His children are worrying, worrying about what to do, worrying about which way to go, but if only they would just lean on Me, lean on Me and not on their own understanding they would realise that I The King of kings and The Lord of lords has everything under control.
If only My children would just trust Me, and rest in Me.
He says am I not the perfecter?
I make all things perfect, I The Lord makes all things beautiful.
So why He says, why do you keep trying with your own strength?
Why He says, why won’t You just rest in Me?
Come to The Lord and He shall give You rest.
Come to The Lord and He shall give You rest.
Come To The Lord and He Shall Give You Rest!
He waits on you to just rest in Him.
Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28
Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. Matthew 11:29
For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Matthew 11:30
The Lord says it’s alright to prepare, it’s alright to prepare yourself for greatness, but whilst you are doing so He says acknowledge Me.
Acknowledge Me for I know your beginning and I know your end.
Acknowledge for Me for I know and hold tomorrow.
He says too many of My children are trusting within themselves, and because of that I am unable to move within them, and because they are not allowing Me to move within them, they grow weary, they grow faint.
My children have kept themselves so busy, they have gotten themselves involved in things that I was never apart of, they have missed my presence, they have missed many opportunities that they would not have if only they had just rested in Me.
My children today are behaving like Martha instead of Mary.
Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house. Luke 10:38
And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus’ feet and heard His word. Luke 10:39
But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me.” Luke 10:40
Mary understood the heart of worship, she understood how to reverence the presence of God.
She understood the importance of resting in Him.
And Jesus answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. Luke 10:41
But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.” Luke 10:42
I’m right in front of them, awaiting for My children to just rest at My feet, awaiting for My children to just wait on My leading, but they fail to acknowledge My presence.
Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; Proverbs 3:5
In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:6
Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and depart from evil. Proverbs 3:7
My children fail to acknowledge My presence because like Martha they choose to follow their own ways, their own order.
To them it may seem like what they are doing is the right thing, and the best thing to do but if only My children would understand that the best thing to do is to just rest in Me.
How long will you continue in your own strength?
Am I not the one who called You?
Am I not the one who knows You by name?
How long will you worry, how long will you be afraid?
I know you, says The Lord, I know you.
I have preordered your steps, I know your path.
Come to Me.
Come!
And I shall give you rest.
Humble yourself before Me like Mary.
Humble yourself and do not be afraid.
I love you so much My daughter, My son, I love You so much, and I desire the best for you.
I know who you are, I know the real you.
Just seek Me.
Start everything with Me.
I am your Friend, let Me be your friend, let Me be your companion.
I am your Helper, let Me help you.
All this while you have been going in your own strength, allow Me to help you.
This race is not easy, and can never be completed without Me.
My daughter My son be like Mary, the best way to prepare is to just rest in Me, and when You do believe and trust Me for I will guide You.
Be like Mary and rest at My Feet.
Do not miss the opportunity of communing with Me.
Do not miss the opportunity of fellowshipping with Me.
For it is during this time that you spend with Me that I will begin a great work in you, and the more you continue to seek My Face, and worship Me, and give Me reverence, and Rest In Me, the more I shall continue to reveal to you, the more I shall elevate you, the more I shall transform you.
My children stop worrying.
My children stop fussing about.
My children just look to Me, look to Me for in Me you will find true rest.
It is so sweet to trust in Jesus.
When He gives us rest, He reassures, He edifies, He uplifts, He encourages, He restores, He revives, He replenishes, He heals, He leads, and He transforms us into His very being.
It is so sweet to trust in Jesus.
Just to rest at His Feet, seek His face, see what He sees, and hear what He hears.
This season refuse to be like Martha, refuse to prioritise your own ways over His.
Instead just rest in Him.
Be like Mary and prioritise The Lord over yourself.
Make The Lord your priority and choose to rest in Him.
Refuse to be too busy for Christ, and trust me by doing so doors will open, favour will locate you, life will become much easier because of the supernatural strength we can only find in Him when we rest in Him.
Overcome the distractions of life by choosing to rest in Him.
His resting place is a covering, satan can never find you there.
Run to rest at His Feet and draw closer to Him.
Run to busy yourself about Him and draw away from Him.
Again I urge you, and I urge myself to rest in Him this season.
When will we realise that it is impossible for us to do everything on our own?
We are not superhuman but with the help of the Holy Spirit we become like so, and we are able to do all things through Christ who indeed strengthens you and I.
It’s not by my might nor is it by my power but by His Spirit.
This season we must learn to rest in Him and allow Him to take the lead.
Believe me there is far more that can be done when resting in His presence.
I am looking forward to this new season.
I am determined to rest in Him.
Lord help us to rest in You.
Forgive us when we follow our own ways.
Forgive us when we believe our ways are above Yours.
Help us Lord, and teach us to rest in You.
For we know that You will never fail us, You will never lead us astray.
We trust Your leading oh Lord and we choose to rest in Your presence.
We choose to honour and serve you like Mary by simply resting in You.
We thank You Lord, we bless Your Name for You are a faithful God.
We thank You oh Lord.
Rest in The Lord for
It will be health to your flesh, And strength to your bones. Proverbs 3:8
Amen.
