DaFruits of Sacrificial Service.❤

The Lord has been prompting me a lot lately especially in this fruitful season of April.
He said the time is now, the time is now to preach, to share of His goodness, and to testify.
I just cannot ignore His voice.
But you see with service comes sacrifice.

We are in Holy week, Today is Maundy Thursday, tomorrow is Good Friday, and Sunday will be Resurrection Sunday.
The Lord is taking me into a different direction now.❤

The perfect predestined will of God was that His Son Jesus, would come down from Heaven to earth and die so that we might live.
The will of God was for a sacrificial service to be made.
If we desire to serve God then a sacrifice has to be made.
Likewise if we proclaim that we are followers of Christ then we ought to die to self and serve God in spirit and in truth.

Sacrificial service is true worship.
However, sacrificial service is not always easy.
We are in Holy Week, and so I am reminded of the days before the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.
I am reminded of DaFruits of the Cup of Suffering.

Yes it was the perfect predestined will of God for Jesus to bear the weight of Calvary’s wood and shame, but as the time drew nearer Jesus felt the pain, Jesus felt the anguish, Jesus was in despair.
However Jesus did accept the will of God, He was willing to be sacrificed to serve the greater good.
He didn’t choose the easy way, He didn’t run away, He drank from the Cup of Suffering.

Then Jesus came with them to a place called Gethsemane, and said to the disciples, “Sit here while I go and pray over there.” Matthew 26:36

And He took with Him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and He began to be sorrowful and deeply distressed. Matthew 26:37

Then He said to them, “My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch with Me.” Matthew 26:38

He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.” Matthew 26:39

Serving God is not always easy, but it is always worth it.
This is a very encouraging Word for me.
We are all called to serve, and that service requires a lot of sacrifice, a lot of cutting off, a lot of letting go and it’s not easy.
Serving God is not always comfortable, God will place you in situations that you would have never of imagined being in, but all in all you have just got to trust Him.
He knows your beginning and your end, and the will of God is always and will forever be perfect.

I have personally been struggling to accept His will and drink from the Cup of Sacrifice to serve.
Midnight on Wednesday morning at 12:24am The Lord kept prompting me to read about Paul I forgot that Paul is not a book(Lol we thank God for The Holy Spirit, I never said I know all my scriptures oh), but Timothy kept springing into mind and I kept hearing 2nd, Paul, Timothy, 4 I was confused thinking why would God want me to read 2 Paul it doesn’t exist?😄🙈

He just said to me just listen, so I said speak Lord and He said go to google, and search scriptures written by Paul(we thank God for google as well lol) so I did and I found that Timothy was amongst the list! 😀👏
So I knew that’s where He wanted me to go so I asked Him again, and He said 2 Timothy ch 4.
I asked if I should read up to a certain point, and He said I should stop when His Spirit leads me to.
God speaks just listen.

Anyway so I ended up reading the whole scripture and it just spoke to me, my very situation, it encouraged me, and also caused me to burst into tears because I know that God really wants me to fulfil what His perfect predestined will for my life, He really wants me to testify and preach.

Amazingly He revealed to me what Paul went through during His sacrificial service to God, and this really encouraged me.
It’s like He literally demonstrated to me the different stages of ministry through the life of Paul.

He said it is the season to preach and fulfil my ministry.

Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. II Timothy 4:2

But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry. II Timothy 4:5

It is the season of long suffering, like I shared last week #DaFruits of the Cup of Suffering it is time to drink from that cup.

For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. II Timothy 4:6

He said it is the season of reaping the harvest.
I will continue to take His Word and shine it all around, my reward is giving glory to Him.

Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to

There will be a season of loneliness, but in that season just stand and trust God.

At my first defense no one stood with me, but all forsook me. May it not be charged against them. II Timothy 4:16

Finally He said He is faithful and in every season He remains a God of faithfulness.

But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me, so that the message might be preached fully through me, and that all the Gentiles might hear. Also I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion. II Timothy 4:17

And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work and preserve me for His heavenly kingdom. To Him be glory forever and ever. Amen! II Timothy 4:18

I spoke to my sister in Christ in the morning yesterday asking for her to pray for me, because I felt distressed about this sacrificial service.
I asked her to pray for me for the spirit of boldness, and she told me that God has already given me the spirit of boldness because the spirit of boldness is of The Holy Spirit.
Yes! That same Spirit of boldness is the Spirit that came upon The Lord when He accepted the will of God, He accepted to be a living sacrifice to serve us with His precious blood, and make us whole. Oh thank You Jesus!
It is that same Spirit of boldness that also comes from the Holy Spirit that came upon Paul during his service of ministry to God, to serve him no matter what in the good and the bad.
His Word is so encouraging you know!

The sacrifice that Jesus made is incomparable.

The cross, the nail pierced hands, the crown of thorns, the shame, the pain, He accepted all that for you and I.
Surely the service that The Lord requires of me to do is not as great of a sacrifice as it is compared to that of Jesus Christ.
He paid the ultimate price for the greater good.

Reading His Word just encourages you, and helps you to realise that He understands.
He really does understand.
He knows.
He cares.
But because of His precious blood that He shed for you way up on Calvary, He has given you the power, and He has strengthened you to serve Him, and to make that sacrifice.

You can do it just trust Him.

In the early hours of this morning as I went through the remaining chapters of 1 Chronicles The Lord gave me a few more encouraging scriptures.

“As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a loyal heart and with a willing mind; for the Lord searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever. I Chronicles 28:9

Consider now, for the Lord has chosen you to build a house for the sanctuary; be strong, and do it.” I Chronicles 28:10

“All this, ” said David, “the Lord made me understand in writing, by His hand upon me, all the works of these plans.” I Chronicles 28:19

And David said to his son Solomon, “Be strong and of good courage, and do it; do not fear nor be dismayed, for the Lord God—my God— will be with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you, until you have finished all the work for the service of the house of the Lord. I Chronicles 28:20

Here are the divisions of the priests and the Levites for all the service of the house of God; and every willing craftsman will be with you for all manner of workmanship, for every kind of service; also the leaders and all the people will be completely at your command.” I Chronicles 28:21

Furthermore King David said to all the assembly: “My son Solomon, whom alone God has chosen, is young and inexperienced; and the work is great, because the temple is not for man but for the Lord God. I Chronicles 29:1

Then the people rejoiced, for they had offered willingly, because with a loyal heart they had offered willingly to the Lord; and King David also rejoiced greatly. I Chronicles 29:9

Remember He tore the veil, He made a way, when He said that It Is Done! Hallelujah!❤

Thank You Lord for encouraging me, and for revealing Your Word. Amen.❤
