Morning everyone!
I’m just going to share a word of encouragement it’s based on the true love of God.

There is is this song that is overplayed at my work place, it’s a catchy song it’s called ‘True Love’ by Pink.

I believe her song is the misconception of true love.
The chorus goes;
‘True love, true love
It must be true love nothing else can break my heart like
True love, true love,
It must be true love
No one else can break my heart like you.’
She also states how she’s so mad at her love but she loves her love at the same time.
She states that she really hates her love, she’s mad at her love but she really loves her love at the same time.
She says she ‘wonders how they ever came to be, but without her love she is incomplete.’

How can true love be somebody that breaks your heart?
I know somebody is probably saying well not literally she is just exaggerating on how annoyed you can get with your partner in your relationship and that shows that it’s true love.
Maybe, I am not saying that we never argue with the ones that we love. I know for sure there is no marriage on earth where there have not been disagreements or arguments, but true love is not based on how many times we argue and fight with our loved ones.
True love is based on the Word of God.
No one should be breaking one another’s heart in pursuit of finding true love, that is not true love and is not a healthy preparation for marriage.
I remember that song I used to like it back in the day though lol it goes
‘love is blind and it can take over your mind, what you think is love is truly not you need to elevate and find.’
Love is not blind, lust is.
Love is not blind, anger is.
Lust mixed with anger is the road to an abusive relationship that is not love.
The world deceives, the media deceives, their perception of true love is far from the truth.
The truth of the matter is that the world teaches false love.
I remember when I was kind of seeing someone, and we both wasted our time lusting after each other.
A time came when I just had to end the foolishness, because I knew that our late night conversations, flirting, cuddling was not of God.
Anyway when I ended it all the guy gave me a note and you’d never believe what the note read it was 1 Corinthians 13!
Lol I just laughed, because his intention was to give me that note to teach me that I was not being patient with him because at the time he was not as strong in The Lord as I was.
Little did he know that he just proved that whatever we had was not love.
God teaches true love for He is true love and He can never break our hearts.
True love is not hate, true love is not anger, true love is not aggressive, true love is not abusive, true love is not pain, true love is not lust.
Someone may be asking how do I know what true love is?
Easy start with His Word it will teach you true love.
The world seeks to find true love but true love cannot be found in the world.
True love can only be found in God.
1 Corinthians 13 is a perfect example.

Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; I Corinthians 13:4

Love is not puffed up meaning love is not vain.

Love does not force us to be what God did not intend for us to be. His love knows who we are inside and out.

does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; I Corinthians 13:5
does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; I Corinthians 13:6

bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. I Corinthians 13:7

Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. I Corinthians 13:8

His love never fades.
His love never grows weary.
Putting our relationships before God is not true love.
The man or lady in which you are courting is not your God.
God must be the centre in all that we do, for God is love.
His Word teaches me that true love is patient therefore true love will wait until the preacher says “you may now kiss the bride” before he kisses me.
His Word teaches me that true love is patient therefore true love will not pressure me into having sex before marriage for this is a sin against God.
His Word teaches me that true love is kind it is not easily angered therefore true love will not abuse me.
His love mends the broken heart.
Broken hearts cannot heal in broken relationships.
Broken hearts cannot love.
Our hearts do not need to be broken before we know that it must be true love, that is a lie from the pit of hell.
There is no greater love than the love of God.
Remember God is not hate so there is no way that He will command you to go and fight and argue.
He said a new commandment I give unto you is that you love one another as I have loved you.
His love never fails.
God is the only One who can complete us.
He makes us whole.
He fills the emptiness.
His love is not based on regrets and sorrow.
He adds no sorrow.
His love is joy.❤
His love is unconditional.

This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. John 15:12

Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. John 15:13

Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good. Romans 12:9

Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; Romans 12:10

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16

He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. I John 4:8

In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. I John 4:9

In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. I John 4:10

Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 1 John 4:11

God does not advise on us being yoked with unbelievers but God has given us freewill so if you so desire to be married to an unbeliever remember that you cannot convict an unbeliever to become a believer only God can.

Paul teaches on the unbelieving spouse in 1 Corinthians 1-7

Now concerning the things of which you wrote to me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman. I Corinthians 7:13

And if a woman has a husband who is not a believer and he is willing to live with her, she must not divorce him. 1 Corinthians 7:13

For the unbelieving husband has been sanctified through his wife, and the unbelieving wife has been sanctified through her believing husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but as it is, they are holy. 1 Corinthians 7:14

But if the unbeliever leaves, let it be so. The brother or the sister is not bound in such circumstances; God has called us to live in peace. 1 Corinthians 7:15

How do you know, wife, whether you will save your husband? Or, how do you know, husband, whether you will save your wife? 1 Corinthians 7:16

Paul emphasises upon marrying an unbeliever, and how difficult it is to bring them to salvation. It’s not easy to bring a husband or a wife to salvation, because it is only God who is able to save for He is our saviour and He is mighty to save! I do not encourage anyone to marry an unbeliever but if you are already in this situation with God all things are possible. Prayer is key.

Marrying an unbeliever can also cause division within the family.
I talk from experience because not everyone in my family is a believer.
Though I believe in my miracle working God and I have faith that He will convict them!

Personally that is not the path that I desire to take, I desire a God fearing man where God will be the centre of our relationship.

The sad thing is though is the love that the world mostly sings about is heartache, cheating, lying, deceiving, manipulating, mind games,lust, pain.

True love cannot be found in the vanities of this world, God said they would fade.
Why would I want to put my love into material things that will fade?
His love He said is everlasting, steady, and in changing, I abide in His love.
True love can only be found in God.
For He loves the world so much that He gave His only begotten son to save us.

Why reject such a loving God?
There is no greater love than the love of God,a love so great that He was willing to send His only begotten son to lay down His life for us.

Remember that His love is true, remember that His love is unbreakable, remember the fruits of His love.❤
