DaFruits of His glory.❤

1 Kings 8.❤

As I read this scripture I was instantly reminded of my favourite song ‘I will run to you’ by Alvin Slaughter.

Your eye is on the sparrow
And Your hand, it comforts me.
From the ends of the Earth to the depth of my heart let Your mercy and strength be seen,

You call me to Your purpose as angels understand.
For Your glory, may You draw all men as Your love and grace demand.❤

And I will run to You.
To Your words of truth.
Not by might, not by power but by the spirit of God.
Yes I will run the race till I see Your face.
Oh let me live in the glory of Your grace❤

And it came to pass, when the priests came out of the holy place, that the cloud filled the house of the Lord, I Kings 8:10

so that the priests could not continue ministering because of the cloud; for the glory of the Lord filled the house of the Lord. I Kings 8:11

Then Solomon spoke: “The Lord said He would dwell in the dark cloud. 1 Kings 8:12

I have surely built You an exalted house, And a place for You to dwell in forever.” I Kings 8:13

“But will God indeed dwell on the earth? Behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain You. How much less this temple which I have built! I Kings 8:27

The priests could no longer minister because His glory had completely consumed His house.
Back then the house of The Lord was the building, a tent, the walls of the church.
When Jesus the son of God came from heaven to earth that all changed, and now the house of The Lord is you and I.
We being the body of Christ are the house in which The Lord dwells in.

So how do we get to the point where the glory of The Lord consumes us His temple?
Well the more we worship and reverently fear The Lord the more He builds His throne, His throne being His kingdom in which He establishes in us. The more we see more of The Lord.

And as we worship build your throne, come lord Jesus and take Your place!❤

Oh the glory of Your presence, we Your temple give You reverence.
So arise from Your rest, and be blessed by our praise.
As we glory in Your embrace, as Your presence now fills this place.❤

We must be led by His Spirit before we can enter that place of glory, we must communion with Him, we must fellowship with Him.
For the glory of The Lord can only be seen within the beauty of His presence.

In the splendour of His majesty from deep within our spirit songs Holy.We must bless The Lord with all our soul to get to that place of glory.

As we enthrone The Lord with our worship He builds His throne.

We can get into the holy place like the priests in 1 King 11 and still not reach that place of glory.
That place of glory is not the walls of the temple, of the ark of the church, no.
That place of glory is when we open up our hearts to The Lord, and we worship Him.
When we worship Him we connect with The Spirit of The Lord, we connect with His Presence.
Connecting to His presence is connecting with His glory like a consuming fire, sweet perfume, His awesome presence fills us, consumes us, takes over us, His room.

As we worship we build His throne we exalt Him, and He takes His place in us The house of The Lord.

This is why we must make room for The Lord in our hearts in which He dwells we must let go of the lusts of this world, the distractions, the foolishness, the stubbornness, the pride anything that hinders the presence of The Lord because it will cost us missing out on His glory.

His glory is witnessed by those who obey His statutes, who worship Him with all their hearts, who seek His face, who reverently fear Him.

Then Solomon stood before the altar of the Lord in the presence of all the assembly of Israel, and spread out his hands toward heaven; I Kings 8:22

and he said: “ Lord God of Israel, there is no God in heaven above or on earth below like You, who keep Your covenant and mercy with Your servants who walk before You with all their hearts. I Kings 8:23

Let your heart therefore be loyal to the Lord our God, to walk in His statutes and keep His commandments, as at this day.” I Kings 8:61

And so it was, when Solomon had finished praying all this prayer and supplication to the Lord, that he arose from before the altar of the Lord, from kneeling on his knees with his hands spread up to heaven. I Kings 8:54

so that all the peoples of the earth may know that the Lord is God and that there is no other. 1 Kings 8:60

His glory unites.

“Moreover, concerning a foreigner, who is not of Your people Israel, but has come from a far country for Your name’s sake I Kings 8:41

(for they will hear of Your great name and Your strong hand and Your outstretched arm), when he comes and prays toward this temple, I Kings 8:42

hear in heaven Your dwelling place, and do according to all for which the foreigner calls to You, that all peoples of the earth may know Your name and fear You, as do Your people Israel, and that they may know that this temple which I have built is called by Your name. I Kings 8:43

[No one] for there is no distinction between Jew and Greek. The same Lord is Lord over all [of us] and He generously bestows His riches upon all who call upon Him [in faith]. Romans 10:12

There is richness in His glory.
He supplies all our needs as we offer a sacrifice of true worship.

Solomon offered as peace offerings to the Lord: 22,000 oxen and 120,000 sheep. So the king and all the Israelites dedicated the house of the Lord. 1 Kings 8:63

On that same day the king consecrated the middle of the court that was before the Lord’s house; there he offered burnt offerings, cereal offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings, because the bronze altar that was before the Lord was too small to receive [all] the offerings. 1 Kings 8:64

So at that time Solomon held the feast, and all Israel with him, a great assembly, from the entrance of Hamath to the Brook of Egypt, before the Lord our God, for seven days [for the dedication] and seven days [for the Feast of Tabernacles], fourteen days in all. 1 Kings 8:65

On the eighth day he sent the people away; they blessed the king and went to their tents with greatest joy and gratitude for all the goodness the Lord had shown to David His servant and Israel His people. 1 Kings 8:66

The glory of The Lord is grace, He is compassionate, He teaches, and He forgives.

And may You hear the supplication of Your servant and of Your people Israel, when they pray toward this place. Hear in heaven Your dwelling place; and when You hear, forgive. I Kings 8:30

“When Your people Israel are defeated before an enemy because they have sinned against You, and when they turn back to You and confess Your name, and pray and make supplication to You in this temple, I Kings 8:33

then hear in heaven, and forgive the sin of Your people Israel, and bring them back to the land which You gave to their fathers. I Kings 8:34

“When the heavens are shut up and there is no rain because they have sinned against You, when they pray toward this place and confess Your name, and turn from their sin because You afflict them, 1 Kings 8:35

then hear in heaven, and forgive the sin of Your servants, Your people Israel, that You may teach them the good way in which they should walk; and send rain on Your land which You have given to Your people as an inheritance. I Kings 8:36

“When there is famine in the land, pestilence or blight or mildew, locusts or grasshoppers; when their enemy besieges them in the land of their cities; whatever plague or whatever sickness there is; I Kings 8:37

whatever prayer, whatever supplication is made by anyone, or by all Your people Israel, when each one knows the plague of his own heart, and spreads out his hands toward this temple: I Kings 8:38

then hear in heaven Your dwelling place, and forgive, and act, and give to everyone according to all his ways, whose heart You know (for You alone know the hearts of all the sons of men), I Kings 8:39

“When they sin against You (for there is no one who does not sin), and You become angry with them and deliver them to the enemy, and they take them captive to the land of the enemy, far or near; I Kings 8:46

yet when they come to themselves in the land where they were carried captive, and repent, and make supplication to You in the land of those who took them captive, saying, ‘We have sinned and done wrong, we have committed wickedness’; I Kings 8:47

and when they return to You with all their heart and with all their soul in the land of their enemies who led them away captive, and pray to You toward their land which You gave to their fathers, the city which You have chosen and the temple which I have built for Your name: I Kings 8:48

then hear in heaven Your dwelling place their prayer and their supplication, and maintain their cause, I Kings 8:49

and forgive Your people who have sinned against You, and all their transgressions which they have transgressed against You; and grant them compassion before those who took them captive, that they may have compassion on them I Kings 8:50

In Your presence there is fullness of joy.
At Your right hand there are pleasures evermore.
You surround us with Your favour oh Lord.
The earth is filled with Your goodness.
The earth is filled with Your love.
Exceedingly, abundantly, far above all we could ever ask or think.
Exceedingly, abundantly, You give us all things to enjoy.❤🙌
